The systemic problem I see is a simple one: the interests of the health care, drug, and food industries are not aligned with our interests as people or as a society. The solution is to use the tax code to ensure that these industries are most profitable the LESS of them we freely choose to use. Capitalism really facility (which is why these industries generate so much profit and so many sick people.) We can fix them only by making it more lucrative for them to convince us to be converted into healthy.
As a soldier, I find it sweet incredible that Republicans are making such a fuss over being forced to buy health insurance because it “infringes their freedom.” Why weren’t any of you raising a fuss when Bush announced that he was going to infringe on soldiers’ contracts by implementing his “stop loss” policy so he could wage his pointless war in Iraq? Why do you complain in this area costs associated with Obama’s plot but spending trillions in Iraq was acceptable? hypocrites

Drug makers stocks are higher thanks to the passing of the bill. The bill gets $409.2 billion in morel taxes by 2019, as per congressional Establishment Committee on Taxation. Imposes $69 billion more in penalties for individuals and businesses who dont meet mandates to buy insurance. Higher medicare taxes on individuals on investment returns including interest on 401K. 15% Tax rate on dividends rise to 20% Medicare tax from 1.45 to 2.35%. FDR made Social Security to prevent future debt but, what Dems have done is used Social security funds to make more entitlements and mismanagement. The bills total cost was reduced by without the Dr Fix that will go in a further bill, cut medicare benefits,takeover education lending industry and start paying 4 years in advance.? Healthcare is not a “right” it is a “privelige” that you “earn” through “working.” You don’t sit on your ass and smoke weed all day and expect to get all the benefits of the people that do work. They don’t want to cut these entitlements for the most part because it’s politically advantageous not to. But the fact that the country cannot afford these entitlements is being hidden from the people. America cannot pay for any of the current claim programs and will be powerless to pay for government health care. We’re $60 trillion in debt when entitlements are included and considering our GDP is only $15 trillion, we CANNOT PAY FOR IT.
Those who oppose healthcare are Anti-American. I am sick of money being spent on wars that do not benefit our country. Sufficient is sufficient.

I feel that if we are to have a healthy society we should treat people as we would want to be treated in there spot. To show some empathy to the less fortunate. Morally it would seam a no brainier, but that is just my opinion.
The insurance companies, instead of controlling the full healthcare system, can sell insurance to Non US Citizen and supplemental medical insurance to those who desire it
Healthcare shall be provided to US citizen only.
Each US citizen should have a Complete Healthcare Card. This will eliminate fraud, overcharge and unnecessarily treatments.
All nursing homes, assistant living conveniences, mental institution and other home healthcare should have an annual budget.
It is so excellent to finally have a President who is for the American people.

You can’t clarify to these people as to why everyone deserves to be helped. They’ve been bred to believe that they DESERVE to have what they have, and that somehow trumps over selection other people.

Well at least there is some sort of thinking going on now, yay! But, the implication, “If people have only one life and if they are sick, then we should help them” is a non-sequitur. You need more steps in between to show that this implication is right, if it is.

Well, question yourself this. If you were injured horribly, would you hope or expect medical attention? Yea you probably would. You’re asking why people should have to help distress people? The reason you’re not getting the answer you want is because the answer should be an entirely obvious thing to any healthy minded self. We should help hurt, sick, dying people because this is their one and only life. We all only get one, and then you’re gone forever, thats why its vital.
Yeah that’s exactly the problem. I need an explanation for exactly why some should be forced to help those that are injured. I’ve been making that very apparent from the beginning. Trust me, if it only took a few seconds of thinking, I wouldn’t be asking that question. Now please clarify.
