Lincoln was a progressive. Republicans now are conservatives. It’s incredible how you people can’t know that. Lincoln fought hostile to the Confederacy and now the Republicans fight to keep the Confederate flag atop state Capitol buildings. They declare national Confederate History month and say that slavery wasn’t that huge of a deal.

The only way to reduce cost is to break down the barriers to competition, the licensing, the massive cost and length of the medical school institution, etc. These make cartels, hence the cost.
South Africa really is terrible…unless you’re white. Look at the HIV rate amongst black africans there. the same goes for ghana. The real reason why Bush chose to go into Iraq and Afganistan was purely for natural resources such as oil and natural gas. As our nation increases in size, our dependence for oil increases, which was a main factor. Bush needed justification to penetrate Iraq and he knew that if he told Americans that it had something to do with our national security (weapons of mass destruction) then we would be behind him.
